We are home finally

we are home now from yet another whirl wind adventure. camp last week was insanely hot and humid, sleepless, and emotionally draining. while i wouldn't have it any other way, still we are tired.

this morning we missed church, which is a rarity. i woke up at 11 and we put the baby back down. at 3 jere decided to go and wake her up only to find blythe and isabel asleep on the living room floor. we are all tired.

i have some pics that are good, but mostly we worked so much i forgot to take pictures. here are a few for your viewing pleasure.

i missed you all

ps- dialogue for last picture

dustin "do you have your phone on you?"
me "yes, it's in my pocket."
dustin "i'd move it if i were you."

we are exhausted and ready to sleep in our own beds.

Happy Birthday Pooh

i really don't have much time to blog today or for that matter this week, we are cleaning up the rest of the mess we made when we changed the baby girl's room with Jack's. yhis was a huge undertaking since it not only included moving furniture, toys, etc, but also involved painting the pepto bismol pink room white and the slate gray room white and green.

4 gallons of kilz later, we are quite pleased with the result but it took alot out of us and the rest of the house has fallen into a state of disarray.

so with that said . . .

happy first birthday ella-sophie (yes BOTH names are her first name). it took so long for your daddy to decide that he wanted another baby, then the conception took a little while too, and of course your 9 months in me waiting to get out. all in all this was a 3 1/2 year journey that i think was well worth the wait.

i cannot believe that you are already one when it just seemed like you would never get here. so here's to you my beautiful baby girl.

ella-sophie eve

blessings my youngest one,

your mommy

i'm back!!

for those of you who didn't know it. we have been out of town since last thursday night! we finally came home on wednesday right in the middle of all those storms.

we got to visit everyone i think. grandma and pappa, josh and danell with their brood, terah and priscilla, staci b, sarah and zoe (she came home with us), and marmee. it was great, but to say we are exhausted is an understatement.

all we have done for two days now is eat, play, and nap with an occasional movie thrown in for good measure. we finally left the house this morning for the first time all week and i really didn't want to go!

anyway here are a few pics from the last few days, we will be coming back in everyone's directions as our beautiful, cheerful, blythe spirit returns on friday.

hugs and kisses,

blythe lauren joy

my baby flew away yesterday. stacey and i took her to the airport at 5 in the morning, which by the way is the absolute best time to hang out with the three of us if i do say so myself. not only are we snazzy dressers, but we have great senses of humor in spite of the time.

blythe's flight went off without a hitch,(this was her first time to fly alone, small tears quickly dried up though) stacey and i got some incredible dunkin donuts (yummy)with some no kid quality time thrown in on the drive back, and ella-sophie spent some quality time sleeping and bonding with her uncle dustin and boddhi (great job dude)

anyway here are a few pics stace got of blythe before she left. i think they are awesome, stacey did a great job! please be in prayer for her the next few weeks that she will have a good time AND get along with her biological father.

ps to stacey and dustin
